Okay, so I am not a professional English teacher. But my Mom was (well, still is, only retired). So even from a young age I was surrounded with the English language, and using it became second nature to me.
I started to read English novels when I was a high school student. Then, as I gained access to the world wide web, I signed up for penfriend sites, and quickly had a few friends who I exchanged English language e-mails with. These were the beginnings.

Where am I now? (regarding my language journey)
Well, I think I consume more content in English than in Hungarian. I stay up to date in my profession (marketing and communications) by following American specialists - I read their blogs, or watch their videos. Whenever I have a question, I'll search for it in English.

I keep myself mentally and physically healthy by using English-language apps as well, and I stay informed about the events of the world by the BBC daily newsletter. I also love their (the BBC's) podcasts as well, and if I need a little laugh, I'll search for a Channel4 show on YouTube (one of my big favourites is The Taskmaster).

So I am pretty confident to say, my English is up to date.

Regarding my teaching skills, I am patient and try my best to create a relaxed, uplifting space in my classes. I've been teaching Maths for 3 years now (2 years online). I love to share my knowledge so I'll be happy to help you improve your English as well.
